if you are in dire need of immediate medical treatment, you will
have to pay really high fees...
heck.. i was in the A&E.. the doc was screaming into the phone
to get the orthopaedic guy to see me because i was in extreme
pain.. but all she could do was to get an appointment in a couple
of weeks' time... she even apologised to me.. i said it doesn't
matter.. i'll try to endure it..
now.. this is A&E...
before the pain became that bad, i went to the usual channels,
getting an appointment... the earliest was in 3 months at Alexandra
Hospital.. my records for my back are in NUH.. the earliest
appointment was in almost 5 months..
so.. slipped disc... endure the pain to go to the public hospital..
or become bankrupt and go to a private hospital and get immediate
treatment?
